    Stuart Audrey Kobus Neil About Us: We at African Sports Safaris understand the needs of visiting golfer's and ensure our client's satisfaction first and foremost, through a quick response to any requests, with efficiency and a personal touch. We also understand the needs of the golfer's family / companions and offer them numerous world-renowned sight-seeing attractions, cultural & shopping tours and wildlife safari opportunities. Background: African Sports Safaris was established in 1991 by Stuart Gedrim in order to follow his three great passions - Golf, Wildlife and Travel. Stuart combined all three into his new business venture - African Sports Safaris - in providing golf holidays and golfing safaris throughout Southern Africa. It was a bold move as prior to 1994 South Africa was not a recognised travel destination. Fortunately political events changed this and African Sports Safaris continues to provide the best value for money golf tours available. Stuart’s extensive golf administration experience at Club, Provincial and National levels includes the following: Club Captain - Eastern Cape Nomads Golf Club 1983/4 Club Captain - Port Elizabeth Golf Club 1986/7 Club Champion - Port Elizabeth Golf Club 1986 Eastern Cape Golf Union Executive and Provincial Selector 1984 to 1989 National Executive - Nomads Golf Club of South Africa 1988/1992 National Chairman - Nomads Golf Club of South Africa 1990/1991 At African Sports Safaris we understand both the game of golf and the needs of our golfing clients. As a result of the many years of administrative service to golf in South Africa, we have developed excellent contacts and infrastructure that guarantees our clients get the very best experience, wherever they choose to play, including special inter-club matches for visiting groups. Our infrastructure includes a team of multi-lingual Golf Tour Specialist Guides throughout South Africa who are on hand to provide customer service of the highest standard and keep us informed of local developments. As the business has grown over the years, so have the staff, and we now have an excellent Head Office team consisting of Audrey, Kobus, Neil and Stuart, all dedicated to providing you, our valued client, with the holiday of a lifetime. African Sports Safaris have been National Members of the South African Tourism Services Association since 1993 ( National Membership No. 404) and participate in the Bonding Scheme which is designed to protect all clients booking holidays with registered SATSA members. We also comply with the Government’s Road Transportation policies and hold the necessary permits for our vehicles. All transfers are done in our own luxury, air conditioned, mini or micro buses or by luxury coach dependent on group size. We can also provide the services of qualified Golf Professionals for Golf Lessons if required. Each of our team involved with guiding our clients are duly qualified and carry Tourist Guide I.D.
