Located on the highest point of the Victoria & Alfred
Waterfront, the Commodore Hotel offers spectacular views of Table
Mountain, Signal Hill and Robben Island.
The hotel is located at the entrance to the V and A Waterfront and is
an ideal base from which to explore Cape Town. The airport is a 25
minute drive away and you are within walking distance of the numerous
shops and restaurants in the waterfront.
The Table Mountain Cable way is 8 minutes
drive, the city center is 3 minutes and you can be lying on the beach
at Clifton within 5 minutes of leaving your room.
Rooms at Commodore
The Commodore is spacious enough to accommodate 236 rooms, as well as
its guests' needs for individual space and serenity. There are 198
Superior Rooms and they are all decorated to a nautical theme.
The
business class rooms are all equipped with a modem line to allow you to
manage your business. The 10 first class suites include a spacious
lounge, a dining area and have a city view. The top of the range option
is the exclusive Imperial Suite.
All rooms have individual aircon,
television, tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom with bath, shower
and toilet, direct dial phones, electric razor plugs, hair dryers, TV
with DStv and 24-hour room service.
The higher rooms in the hotel have the best views.
Dining & Entertainment
The Clipper Restaurant uses the freshest ingredients in a menu that is
varied with influences from Asia and Africa. Any meal at the Clipper
will be delightfully complemented with any one of the House Wine
Collection.
The Clipper offers a buffet breakfast, a-la carte menu and
light menu for the not-so-hungry.
If you want something different try the Portswood Hotel
