Play in an amateur version of the famous Ryder Cup against a selected Club Team from Cape Town and enjoy real South African hospitality.
Your Team will be drawn to play against a selected team from members of a local South African golf club, in an International 'Club Challenge' Series, based on the Ryder Cup format. The format will be Matchplay over 3 rounds, taking handicaps into account, with 12 members per side - 2 points for a win, 1 for a half.
After golf enjoy local hospitality at the 19th hole followed by a South Africa Braai (barbecue) to celebrate the winners.
After the Amateur Ryder Cup event, visit Mpumalanga / Kruger Park area for more golf and a Wildlife Safari in the world famous Kruger National Park.

Itinerary
Day One - Arrival in Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by an African Sports Safaris representative and taken to your lodge to check in. Relax after the journey and this evening we will have a short Official Welcoming gathering at Westlake Golf Club and the draw for Round One of the tournament.

Day Two - Golf at Westlake Golf Club - First Round
Tee off today in Round One (Fourball Betterball format) of this special amateur version of the Ryder Cup event.
After golf, a lunch & celebration at the 19th hole plus the draw for Round Two.
This afternoon we take a short orientation tour of the city and this evening there will be some leisure time for some shopping before dinner at the V & A Waterfront.

Westlake Golf Club Clovelly Country Club
Day Three - Golf at Clovelly Golf Club - Second Round
Tee off today in Round Two (Fourball Betterball format).
After golf, a lunch & celebration at the 19th hole plus the draw for Round Three.
This afternoon we take a scenic drive along the Cape Peninsula to Cape Point and The Cape of Good Hope.

Day Four - Golf at Westlake Golf Club - Third Round
Tee off today in Final Round (Singles Format) to decide the Team winners of this fun event.
After golf, a lunch & celebration at the 19th hole.
This evening we dine at one of Cape Town's popular restaurants and sample some excellent Cape Wines.

Day Five - Site seeing day and wine tasting
Today is a day to relax with a tour of the Cape Winelands visiting some of the renowned Estates in the region. Wine tasting and a guided tour of Stellenbosch including lunch will round off a relaxing day

Day Six - Cape Town to Kruger National Park
We depart Cape Town today and fly to Johannesburg where we catch a connecting flight to Nellspruit and a transfer to Biyamiti or Lower Sabie Camp in Kruger National Park for a two day Wildlife Safari in open vehicles.

Day Seven - Kruger National Park
Early morning Game Viewing in search of the Big Five of Africa and we return to Camp for breakfast followed by some leisure time to rest during the heat of the day.
This afternoon we take another Game Drive and return to Camp for dinner.

Day Eight - Golf in Kruger National Park - to White River
Check out this morning and drive to Skukuza Camp, the largest of the Kruger Park camps, for a unique experience of playing golf inside Kruger where the animals roam freely.
After golf we depart Kruger National Park with Game Viewing en route exiting at Malelane Gate and drive to White River where we check into the White River Golf Lodge situated next to the course.

Day Nine - Golf at White River
A leisurely breakfast and tee off at White River Golf Club.
After golf relax at the pool with some leisure time.

Day Ten - Golf at Nellspruit Golf Club
Today we travel to Nellspruit Golf Club for the last round of the tour. After golf drinks at the 19th hole before we return to the lodge and a celebratory dinner.

Day Eleven - Nellspruit to Johannesburg International Airport.
Check out after breakfast for the return journey along the N4 Highway to JNB Int'l. Airport in time for your flight home
